Staffing employment was up 0.41% to 93.85 the week of February 6-12, according to the ASA, up 3.74% over the same week last year. The four-week average index was up to 93.45, an increase of 2.59% above last year. This is good news for recruiters because, though these movements are baby steps, the index is still moving in the right direction.
