Who Should Attend

Staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry owners, principals, chief executive officers, presidents, branch managers, and recruiting professionals

Highlights

The 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act contained significant tax relief for the staffing industry, including the reduced top individual tax rate, the 20% deduction for passthrough business under Section 199A of the Internal Revenue Code, and the increased estate and gift tax exemption amounts. Without congressional action, this tax relief will expire at the end of this year.

During this webinar, Marc Gerson of Miller & Chevalier Chartered will provide insight into the effect of the 2024 elections on the tax legislative agenda, with a particular emphasis on consideration of extending the expiring TCJA tax relief provisions. He will also provide an early preview of the upcoming midterm congressional elections and their potential impact on the tax legislative agenda.

During this webinar, attendees will learn

  • How the results of the 2024 elections will affect Congress’s tax legislative agenda
  • What it will mean for staffing agencies if the TCJA tax relief provisions expire at the end of 2025
  • How the midterm congressional elections could change the legislative agenda on taxes
