This week, Forbes published its latest list of America’s Best Large Employers, and a handful of staffing companies made the cut.
Travel nursing agency Aya Healthcare was the top staffing company on the list at #133. Other staffing agencies included:
- Robert Half (#180)
- Manpower (#364)
- Allegis Group (#366)
- Randstad (#488)
The list was based on a survey conducted in partnership with Statista — 45,000 workers at large American companies (5,000+ employees) weighed in on how likely they were to recommend their employers to family and friends, as well as what other companies they’d suggest. Forbes then ranked the 500 most highly-recommended companies.
Despite the stressful nature of healthcare jobs, particularly in recent years, surveyed employees were advocates for their healthcare employers. Hospital systems and medical centers dominated Forbes’ list for the second consecutive year, holding eight of the top 25 spots and representing 20% of the companies in the top 100.
