Employees are playing it safe and prioritizing their job security amid concerns about the economy. A new study from Qualtrics found that 25% of employees believe they’d have a hard time finding a new job if they lost theirs.
Men had more confidence in their ability to find a job than women, but women were more likely to feel secure in their jobs.
“In an uncertain economy, job security is king,” said Dr. Benjamin Granger, Chief Workplace Psychologist at Qualtrics. “More employees staying put eases some of the pressure on employers after two years of worker shortages.”
