According to a recent survey of over 1,200 recruiters, diversity in hiring is a priority of the majority of staffing clients. Focusing specifically on gender parity in hiring, the survey found that 80% of recruiters have experienced an increase in the number of requests for female executives in the past year.

The survey also found:

  • 68% of recruiters believe it is more challenging to find female executive candidates
  • 66% of recruiters consider female executive candidates easier to place than males
  • Female recruiters are 25% more likely to submit female candidates
  • Male recruiters are 16% more likely to submit male candidates
