Coming off the heels of its features on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For and the World’s Most Admired Companies lists, Robert Half International’s exceptional board of directors, strong financial performance, and efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions earned the company its debut on Fortune’s Modern Board 25 list. Robert Half ranked #8 and is the only staffing company on the 2023 list.
The Modern Board list recognizes companies with the most innovative boards of directors, based on a ranking system Fortune developed in collaboration with SaaS solution provider Diligent. To determine the ranking, scores are assigned to various criteria, including board member expertise, board diversity, and financial performance.
Other industries represented in this year’s list range from information technology to mining to retail, with cyber security and application delivery firm F5 taking the top spot.
