TalentNeuron Strengthens C-Suite with Strategic Sales and Marketing Leadership Appointments to Accelerate Growth

Executive team expansion underscores company’s commitment to market leadership in workforce transformation

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–TalentNeuron, the only workforce transformation platform in the market that unifies internal talent intelligence and external labor market data, and robust workflows for all stages of workforce planning and transformation, today announced the appointment of John Knotwell as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and the promotion of Maureen McGinness to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). These strategic leadership appointments position the company to accelerate its market expansion as demand for its comprehensive workforce transformation solutions continues to grow across industries.

“This is an era of rapid workforce disruption and organizations are increasingly seeking more integrated ways to plan through unpredictable headwinds,” said Julie Peck, CEO of TalentNeuron. “TalentNeuron’s strong Q1 results reflect the momentum for our unique value in strategic workforce planning. We’re doubling down on taking our distinctive capabilities to market with these key leadership appointments. Together, John and Maureen bring the operational rigor and strategic vision needed to accelerate our growth trajectory and solidify our market leadership.”

Knotwell brings extensive experience as a four-time CRO and two-time CEO, having successfully led multiple B2B SaaS companies through significant growth phases. He most recently led growth at Skilljar, a tenure which culminated in an acquisition by Gainsight this year. Prior to that, he served as CRO at Artera, where he transformed the company’s go-to-market approach, in part through strategic channel partnerships.

In his new role, Knotwell will focus on developing strategic channels and expanding relationships with current and new partners. He will also lead TalentNeuron’s global go-to-market organization, overseeing teams in North America, EMEA, and APAC.

“This is a pivotal moment for TalentNeuron and the broader workforce technology space,” Knotwell said. “Organizations are grappling with unprecedented labor market complexity driven by AI, demographic shifts, and widening skills gaps. TalentNeuron’s platform brings together external labor market intelligence and internal workforce insights in a way no one else does. I’m excited to join the team and help our customers reimagine how they transform their workforce for the future of work.”

McGinness, who has been with TalentNeuron since late 2023, steps into the CMO role after serving as Vice President of Marketing. With over 30 years of experience in marketing and product marketing in the HCM space, McGinness has already made significant contributions to TalentNeuron, spearheading the company’s rebrand and supporting the development of a new go-to-market strategy that delivered exceptional performance against 2024 goals. In her elevated role, she will focus on expanding TalentNeuron’s reach across global markets, continuing to deliver against pipeline objectives, strengthening community and partner engagement, and collaborating with sales leadership to drive continued growth.

“Organizations are no longer just seeking data; they need strategic guidance to navigate today’s complex workforce landscape,” said McGinness. “What sets TalentNeuron apart is our ability to not only provide rich intelligence but also translate that intelligence into actionable workforce transformation roadmaps. I’ve never seen a more critical moment for enterprises to bridge the gap between workforce insights and implementation. Our mission as a marketing organization is to help organizations kickstart their transformation journey, from identifying future skill requirements to building comprehensive reskilling strategies that align with business objectives.”

As part of this momentum, the company also noted that David Wilkins will transition into the role of Chief Product and Strategy Officer, focusing full-time on expanding TalentNeuron’s product portfolio and innovation strategy.

TalentNeuron’s 2024 acquisition of HRForecast significantly expanded its capabilities in internal talent analytics and scenario planning, creating a truly end-to-end solution for strategic workforce planning. The integrated platform uniquely connects internal talent intelligence with external labor market insights, enabling business leaders to anticipate change and act with confidence. Unlike competitors offering siloed point solutions, TalentNeuron provides a unified system with dynamic skills architecture, workforce forecasting, automation impact modeling, and talent optimization. With this powerful foundation, enterprises can proactively close skills gaps, align talent strategies with business goals, and evolve their workforce for the future.

“We’re assembling a leadership team designed to meet this pivotal moment in workforce evolution,” Peck added. “With John leading revenue, Maureen driving our marketing strategy, and David pioneering our strategic product vision, we’ve built the executive foundation needed to propel TalentNeuron forward. Together, we’ll empower organizations to transform uncertainty into opportunity, helping them build resilient, future-ready workforces that drive sustainable business success.”
