Workwell International, a leading global Employer of Record (EOR), has officially rebranded to Workwell Global to reflect it’s new global mission of helping companies to ‘Hire talent; whoever and wherever in the world they are.’ The brand renewal also encompasses the international workforce management companies it recently acquired; Whitefin (2023) and 6Cats (2022) into a streamlined global workforce management solution. The latest acquisition, PGC Group (2024) will follow in early 2025 and officially rebrand to Workwell Global.
Amy Davies has been appointed to lead the expansion and growth of Workwell Global. Amy has over a decade of experience working alongside recruitment firms in the compliance, payroll and employment space. Best known for helping recruitment and staffing businesses enter the highly litigious employment markets in North America as Managing Director of the longest serving North American EOR; PGC. Her in-depth knowledge and proven expertise make Amy the ideal leader to help scale and establish Workwell Global as the go to employer of record provider.
Marc Gomez has been appointed to lead the business operations and delivery of solutions to its broad customer base. Marc previously founded and led WhiteFin, an Employer of Record with local entities established in over 22 counties. Marc has a deep technical knowledge and his expertise has helped many businesses across a wide range of sectors to grow and scale the engagement of talent internationally. Marc is perfectly placed to lead the business operations and scale the company for its expected growth.
John Hoskin, CEO of the Workwell Group, commented on the brand renewal and focus:
“Workwell International was cemented through the acquisitions of both 6CATs and White Fin which provided us with capability to payroll workers in 80 plus countries. For Workwell to truly become a global provider of employment and contractor management services, having a North American capability at scale was critical. Acquiring PGC Group earlier this year gave us both market-leading capability and a strong foothold in North America which today, has cemented our transition to Workwell Global.
The Employer of Record market is expected to grow to $35 billion due to the prominence of remote working and mobile and distributed workforces. Some EORs are fully digitised, in terms of onboarding, payroll, and HR support, but some aspects of engaging cross border talent still require a human touch, particularly complex employment compliance and global expansion advice. Companies expanding into new territories require expert knowledge and support at a critical time in their companies’ growth and that’s what Workwell Global is all about. A fully tech-enabled global employment solution, streamlining and encoding onboarding, compliance and business support but, crucially, allied with deep expertise in 80+ countries.”
John added that Amy Davies and Marc Gomez are uniquely positioned to lead Workwell Global growth strategy: “As we bring together the brands of Workwell, PGC, 6CATs and WhiteFin under one brand of Workwell Global, Amy Davies was the obvious choice to lead our strategic growth efforts globally and Marc the perfect leader to manage our global operational organisation.
Amy has delivered an impressive track record, has an excellent reputation and is a first class sales leader. I’m confident she will bring the same track record to the global division of Workwell, to deliver our ambitious growth plans and continue to deliver outstanding customer service and support our clients’ ambitions and requirements to operate internationally and compliantly via our global workforce solutions.
Equally, Marc is an established expert and leader in the specialised and technical industry of engagement solutions for both the contingent workforce and the engagement of remote permanent workers. His expertise, passion and leadership capability will underpin our aggressive plans to grow and scale and be recognised as the go to Employer of Record.
Commenting on her new appointment for Workwell Global, Amy said:
“I am thrilled to be leading the growth of Workwell Global at such a pivotal time for the business and the wider EOR market. With the increasing demand for flexible, compliant global workforce solutions, our goal is to empower businesses to access top talent no matter where they are based. The unification of PGC, 6CATs, and Whitefin under the Workwell Global banner will allow us to leverage our combined expertise and local knowledge to provide a truly seamless experience for our clients.”
Marc commented “As companies navigate increasingly complex global employment landscapes, our focus will be on helping them grow confidently by delivering the right blend of technology, compliance, and support. I look forward to driving the company’s next phase of growth, fostering new partnerships, and enabling businesses to expand their global footprint with agility and compliance at the forefront.”
With an ambitious growth strategy and the integration into one unified brand, Workwell Global is set to become one of the largest EORs globally, to help businesses hire whoever, wherever in the world they are.
