Nearly two-thirds (64%) of workers say a poor recruiting experience would turn them off of purchasing from companies in the future, according to a Future Workplace and CareerArc Survey. Even for those who do get the job, a bad candidate experience can lead to uncommitted new hires who leave their positions early. A company may receive poor reviews on social media, accrue higher recruitment costs, and have difficulty attracting top talent for particular positions.
Staffing agencies can improve candidates’ experiences by keeping open communication with regular application status updates, providing all logistics for the first day of work, and having regular check-ins with contract employees throughout their assignment.
