independent workers

Employer talent shortages are currently at a 10-year high, according to ManpowerGroup. At the same time, the “gig economy” is booming, and employers may ease these shortages by hiring independent workers. Areas that may benefit from this type of employment are business development, IoT, IT, healthcare IT, and positions that require regulatory expertise in healthcare or finance.

Recruiters and employers may prioritize “gig” employees who are hired for a particular project for a set amount of time, mixing them with regular full-time employees.
