Following a period of rapid growth, tech salaries plateaued last year, according to the 2024 Dice Tech Salary Report. The average tech salary was $111,193.
The report also found that 93% of tech workers are either looking for a new job or willing to hear about a new opportunity, which Dice says is likely because of a decline in salary satisfaction. More than one-third (35%) of tech workers were dissatisfied with their salaries last year, up from 30% in 2022.
