Among the latest mergers and acquisitions in the staffing industry are AMS’ acquisition of HirePower, Medical Solutions’ acquisition of Host Healthcare, and Mitchell Martin’s acquisition of ingenium.

AMS

Global talent solutions firm AMS recently acquired 100% of the share capital in HirePower, a Toronto-based provider of Recruitment Process Outsourcing. This acquisition will help expand AMS’ North American operations and broaden its client base.

Medical Solutions

Medical Solutions, a provider of healthcare workforce solutions, announced its acquisition of Host Healthcare, an award-winning healthcare staffing company. The move expands Medical Solutions’ market share and will help better meet growing client needs.

iCIMS

Talent cloud company iCIMS has acquired SkillSurvey, a pioneer in skills verification and digital reference checking. This acquisition will reduce the time and cost of traditional reference checking for iCIMS’ community of more than 4,000 customers.

Mitchell Martin Inc.

Staffing company Mitchell Martin Inc. announced the acquisition of ingenium, a company headquartered in NYC that specializes in placing technical and product talent with emerging technology companies and startups.

Visier

Visier, a global leader in people analytics, acquired the assets of Boostrs, an API-first skills mapping engine. Boostrs data will provide Visier’s customers with the insights necessary to close skills gaps and thrive in changing market conditions. 

Allied Universal

Security and facility services company Allied Universal continues its strategic expansion with the acquisition of Century Event Security & Staffing, a provider of comprehensive security and event services in Las Vegas and Orlando.
