A recent Robert Half survey revealed that almost three-quarters (72%) of managers plan to hire contract professionals during the first six months of 2023. This is a significant increase from the 45% who said the same in the second half of 2022.
Gen Z is rethinking their career plans. This is largely due to tech layoffs and concerns about artificial intelligence, among other factors. A large majority (82%) are concerned about recent layoffs, and over three-quarters (76%) report their career plans have changed in the last six months.
